Wednesday 3rd February
This event saw the formal launch of the ‘Who lives in Build-to-Rent’ report by London First, British Property Federation and UKAA. This report suggests that Build To Rent schemes in the capital are attracting a variety of tenants through a combination of high-quality homes, predictable rents, and world-class communal spaces and services, with the sector becoming an increasingly important part of London’s housing market.
This report provides an insight into who lives in Build To Rent homes in London using a sample of 10 developments from Grainger PLC, Be:here Hayes (managed by Apo Group) and Get Living.
The webinar covered the report’s findings, how the data compares to London’s wider private rented sector and how it will further our understanding of the increasingly important role that Build To Rent will continue to play in the capital’s housing market. We discussed the next steps that this project can take, exploring new topics for future reports and where data can be secured.
