UKAA Study Tour: Manchester Deep Dive – 2 Day Event

We conducted an in-depth exploration of Manchester – arguably the UK’s hottest city for Build To Rent on Monday 16th – Tuesday 17th September 2019.

TOUR TIMETABLE:

Day 1 – Monday 16th September 2019 (PM only)

The first day of the study tour commenced after work on Monday 17th September with a walking tour of schemes in the neighborhood  of Ancotes, the northern part of Manchester. This was followed by an informal dinner and networking.

• 5.30pm Meet at Dakota Hotel foyer ready for Ancoats tour
• 6.00pm – 7.00pm Visit to scheme: Manchester Life, Ancoats
• 7.30pm – 10.00pm 3 Course Dinner and networking in local Ancoats restaurant, Elnecot
• 10.00pm Ends

Day 2 – Tuesday 17th September 2019 (full day)

This was a full day visiting 6 developments with transport and lunch included with great opportunities to network throughout the day.

Schemes included on the day are:

• 7.30am – 8.30am Networking Breakfast at Dakota hotel 
• 8.30am – 12.30pm:
• Visit to scheme: Blackfriars, owner by Salboy, perated by urbanbubble
• Visit to scheme: GreenGate, owned by LaSalle, operated by JLL
• Visit to scheme:  Deansgate Square, owned by Legal and General, operated by urbanbubble
• 12.30pm – 1.30pm  Lunch at Penthouse of West Tower, Deansgate Square
• 1.30pm – 5.15pm:
• Visit to scheme: Middlewood Locks, operated by Get Living
• Visit to scheme: Trilogy, operated by Allsop
• Visit to scheme: The Slate Yard, owned by Legal and General, operated by urbanbubble
• 5.15pm End of study tour. Drop back to hotel
