YOUR BTR NEWS BUZZ

EDITORS NOTE

Welcome to the latest edition of the UKAA News Buzz, sponsored by Quadient and guest-edited by Jon Hammond.

In March 2020, as the majority of the world went into lockdown in an attempt to avoid catching and spreading COVID-19, life became very restrictive for those living in apartments. Everyday life for residents became confining, with people having to work from home and conduct day-to-day activities, such as purchasing goods and shopping, online and within the four walls of their apartment.

As a result of the pandemic, there have been significant changes to apartment living. Parcel lockers have become incredibly valuable, as they provide a solution for distributing items while ensuring users avoid unnecessary contact with other individuals. Adding to this, Build-To-Rent managers have had to accommodate a number of new residents’ demands, with renters placing a high priority on speedy internet, home office space and private outdoor spaces.

Next month, on 5th October, Quadient is taking part in a UKAA Webinar on how the pandemic has impacted the future of apartment living. You can register for this webinar here. In the meantime, enjoy this latest edition of the News Buzz.

Best wishes,
Jon Hammond, Head of Real Estate Parcel Locker Solution Sales, Quadient.

For residents, simple and convenient access to parcels is a priority. For building managers, time and cost effective parcel management is a must. Quadient’s intelligent parcel lockers provide reduced contact, secure parcel management; they’re available 24/7 so residents can collect their parcels at their convenience.
