Love to Rent –the only Build to Rent search platform in the UK

8th November 2019: The unique benefits of the Build to Rent (BtR) market will finally be showcased on a standalone search platform, Love to Rent (www.lovetorent.co.uk).

Love to Rent, the first and only BtR-specific platform available in the UK, helps to differentiate BtR homes from standard private rentals by highlighting and promoting the development and the wide range of benefits the homes provide.

With house hunters increasingly demanding quality homes that have a professionally managed service, as well as longer, more secure tenancies with reputable landlords, the platform sets BtR apart from other homes available in the private rental market.

As well as being the only specific search platform for BtR, Love to Rent will also positively influence the BtR developments of the future through the data it will collect. It will identify the specific features that customers value most, as well as helping to build area-specific profiles that BtR providers can use to ensure that future schemes are shaped around the needs of customers.

Commenting on the development of Love to Rent, CEO Anne-Marie Brown said:

“Love to Rent is going to put the Build to Rent market in the shop window. High quality developments now have their own platform, so their unique benefits will no longer be diluted by traditional search platforms.

“More and more people are choosing to rent – but they want quality, professionally managed homes. That’s what we deliver. We are always looking out for new partners to work with, so do please get in touch if you have a scheme which you would like to feature on our platform.”

Former Assistant Director of Housing at the GLA, Jamie Ratcliff, commented: “I believe that Build to Rent is a vital part of the consumer offer and housing supply challenge to help tackle London’s housing crisis. I’m delighted to see the launch of Love to Rent, the UK’s first search platform exclusively for Build to Rent homes, which will positively support that. “I know that quality and security is really important to Love to Rent, both in terms of the types of tenancies the developments on the platform offer, but also in terms of the landlords they allow to market on their website. Customers can therefore be assured that the developments on Love to Rent are managed by reputable landlords who deliver high-quality homes with great services. “Love to Rent will help to promote the consumer benefits of build to rent homes, as well as highlighting to customers that they do have more choice in the rental market.”

Dave Butler, CEO of the UKAA, the trade body for the Build To Rent sector, commented “The demand for purpose built, professionally managed rental homes is growing and the easier it is for customers to find and recognise Build To Rent stock, the faster the sector will grow. We welcome Love To Rent as a new and innovative offering into the market.”
