Osterna help companies and ‘duty holders’ to understand and manage their responsibilities for all Fire and Health & Safety matters, so they become and remain compliant.

Our risk assessments whether they be for Fire or general Health & Safety carry the same ‘no nonsense’ balanced approach, giving clients relevant and reliable information with easy to follow action plans. Operating from regional offices and field based positions across the country our assessors are well positioned to be deployed to sites in most postcode locations.

Working in the residential, commercial and educational sectors including BTR we provide Assessments on all types of buildings, ranging from HMO’s, small blocks of flats to larger sites of 10 storeys or more, mixed commercial and residential tenure, Community Centres, retirement homes, private residential complexes, offices, shops, leisure centres and schools. We also provide risk assessments on playgrounds and asbestos re-inspections.

Through our ‘partnerships’ with other specialists we can source additional services such as External Wall Surveys.

The sectors we serve continue to evolve and adapt in response to changing legislation and different client and consumer needs. The pending Building Safety Bill will bring new and additional responsibilities so it’s important that companies ‘get ahead of the curve’ and start making preparations. Osterna is much more than a provider of risk assessments. We consider ourselves to be an ‘extension’ of our clients team providing high quality information and guidance which supports them and their customers so that collectively we can make a real difference.

A key output of the Hackitt report and one which will continue to move forward is resident engagement. We therefore work with our clients to connect and communicate with all relevant parties to help educate, advise and enhance their understanding and knowledge of general Fire and Health & Safety.
